Job Description:

The Parts Warehouse position at Finning Canada is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving parts, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload parts trucks using manual or mechanical equipment.
  • Pick, pack, and label customer orders with precision and accuracy.
  • Arrange for trucking or courier services to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Produce packing slips and maintain accurate records of all shipments.
  • Verify shipment orders by completing a 3-way match with purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Monitor pending inbound and outbound orders to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
  • Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Provide assistance to coworkers and customers as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to meet Finning's housekeeping standards and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Perform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment, and replenish warehouse supplies as needed.
  • Accurately sort and assign bin locations for incoming stock.
  • Clean and prepare equipment parts and attachments for stocking.
  • Perform minor assembly and refurbishment tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment is an asset.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain crane, forklift, and related safety training certifications, such as WHIMS and TDG.
  • A strong commitment to safety is essential.
