Position Overview

The main role of the Pharmacy Operations Coordinator (POC) is to assist in various functions within the pharmacy that do not involve pharmacy technician responsibilities. The POC will be tasked with maintaining organized files and documentation as directed by pharmacy management. Additionally, the POC will support other pharmacy operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities: The duties outlined below may evolve over time.
  • Systematically organizing, labeling, and archiving prescriptions.
  • Managing and filing compounding documentation.
  • Facilitating office and workspace organization.
  • Developing, maintaining, updating, and monitoring confidential records/information to ensure precision and thoroughness.
  • Drafting reports, correspondence, and various documents as required.
  • Executing other administrative functions as necessary.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to manage sensitive materials/information with discretion.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
