We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) of the University of Arkansas System. As a RN, you will provide direct care to patients, work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of nursing practice standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and document patient assessment data, developing a Plan of Care (POC) based on department/unit standards.
- Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes, administering medication as needed.
- Verify and evaluate care delivered to ensure consistency with patient-centered care principles, practice standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, promoting a positive educational experience for students and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas.
- Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethic, and accountability.
