Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in a high-acuity environment.
  • Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
