Opportunity for a Diagnostic Audiologist in East Lansing, MI
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Diagnostic Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran files the claim before they see you, and all their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal. During the appointment, you will review these records and conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, which forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.
This is an IN-PERSON position that offers 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, or hearing aid sales. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Veterans and possess excellent communication skills.
About the Role
This Diagnostic Audiologist role requires:
- A Doctor of Audiology degree from an ASHA Accredited school.
- A current license as an Audiologist.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Your Benefits
As a Diagnostic Audiologist at MRG Exams, you can expect:
- Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG.
- Health insurance options available.
- ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU).
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary, estimated around $120,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are passionate about serving the Veteran community and have a strong background in audiology, we encourage you to apply. Please note that this position is based in East Lansing, MI.
