Job Title: EES Behavior Consultant

At Child Guidance Resource Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled EES Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Elementary Education Services Program, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children to learn pro-social skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of students, utilizing formal observations, data collection, and one-to-one interactions to develop a therapeutic relationship and behavior planning.
  • Design, direct, and coordinate the delivery of program-related services to classroom behavior plans and conflict management.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in developing and maintaining innovative and effective delivery of program services.
  • Intervene in crisis situations, utilizing Personal Emergency Interventions as needed.
  • Regularly review IEPs, behavior plans, case histories, and past treatment documentation to inform effective treatment measures.
  • Attend IEP meetings to discuss behavioral concerns, interventions, and support as needed.
  • Track and analyze data within the program to develop effective interventions for behavior IEP goals.
  • Provide consistent communication and feedback to families and team members on student progress.
  • Supervise the self-administration of student medication, ensuring students understand their prescribed medication.
  • Conduct assessments of strengths and therapeutic needs of individual students.
  • Utilize EHR to access information in all departments for assigned students.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to access, provide, or coordinate mental health and education services.
  • Provide support to classrooms and EES teams as needed throughout the school day.
