Apollo Professional Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembler - 1st Shift Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting electronic components to ensure high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Inspection: Assemble and inspect electronic components to ensure they meet IPC-A-610 quality standards.
- Rework and Modification: Rework SMT components and perform modifications per Engineering Change Orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect assemblies to ensure quality standards are met and identify common component and soldering defects.
- Component Handling: Remove and replace PTH and SMT components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, LEDs, and discrete components.
- Documentation and Procedures: Utilize Bill of Material (BOM), Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders to ensure each unit is correct to new/current specifications and maintain 100% accuracy, functional operation, and quality.
- US Person: Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
- Experience: Prior CCA soldering experience or similar experience required.
- Communication Skills: Must possess both oral and written skills to communicate with supervisors, and co-workers, and to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Technical Skills: Must have basic Microsoft Office skills and be able to learn Word, Excel, Access, and software.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-moving, quality-oriented, and high-stress environment.
- Teamwork: Must be self-motivated and able to work as a team member in a continuous improvement environment.
- Competitive Pay: $18.00/Hr.
