Job Summary:

As a Sales Associate at Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc., you will play a vital role in our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, process sales transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will also have the opportunity to work in a specialized area, such as accessories grading, cash handling, or donation processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
