Full Time Lead Nurse

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Dispensing Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Nurse Supervisor and Program/Medical Director to ensure adequate nursing coverage and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel who are competent to perform those tasks.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues and participate in treatment teams, panel reviews, and department head meetings.
- Nurture a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among nursing staff.
- Develop and manage schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports to ensure efficient and effective nursing operations.
- Review and resolve client clinical complaints, intervene in crisis situations, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Licensed in IN as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
- Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of constituencies.
- Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
- Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
