Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Wellness Director, the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Senior Care Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in a senior living community. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care or geriatrics and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and provide emotional support
  • Monitor resident vital signs and weight, and complete required documentation
  • Assist with resident move-in and move-out processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to controlled substances and medication management
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Director and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents

Requirements:

  • Current Unencumbered LPN license in the state
  • 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or geriatrics
  • Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
