Job Summary

Shakopee School District is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to lead our special education evaluation team. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for administering formal and informal assessments, writing evaluation reports, and providing individual and group interventions to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the evaluation team for special education evaluations
  • Administer formal and informal assessments to support student learning
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports to inform instruction
  • Participate on intervention teams for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Provide individual and group interventions to support student needs
  • Consult with general and special education teachers on student needs, including behavior and academic concerns
Qualifications
  • Ed.S. (Specialist Degree) in School Psychology
  • Current MN license in School Psychology
  • Experience in schools preferred
  • Specific experience with special populations such as students with emotional behavior disorders (EBD) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred
Working Conditions
  • Classroom and office environment
  • Must be able to travel between sites (if needed)
