Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
