Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our behavioral health unit. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating patient discharge planning. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions between levels of care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience
  • Active RN license in the state of Virginia
  • 1 year of experience in behavioral health nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
