Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Clinical Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of medical devices and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, and ultrasound devices.
  • Conduct safety testing and calibration of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using advanced technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand and resolve operational problems related to equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and equipment records.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as medical electronics or biomedical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Advanced technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment, including anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, and ultrasound devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical staff and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
Working Conditions
