New Day Recovery is a progressive substance abuse treatment organization committed to providing high-quality patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting. Our ultimate goal is to address the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of opioid use disorder to help each of our patients achieve long-term recovery and an improved quality of life.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a high-functioning care team, providing designated resident care and administering medications and treatments consistent with orders and in compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional resident care and support in a fast-paced environment
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
  • Conduct hourly rounds to assess resident needs and environment
  • Participate in facility quality improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved patient experience
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes, including logging and storing resident belongings
  • Perform general household upkeep and maintenance, including laundry and cleaning
  • Assist with kitchen duties, including washing and putting away dishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication room and cart
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team discussions
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) certification, if required by state
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to successfully complete training in medication administration, CPR, First Aid, and behavior intervention techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform general household upkeep and maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Salary Range

Salary ranges from $11.00 to $12.50 an hour, based on experience, education, and other factors.
