Job Overview

As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various building interiors. This role involves performing essential cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms, ensuring all surfaces and fixtures are disinfected using appropriate cleaning agents, mopping floors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of walls, windows, and glass surfaces using various cleaning solutions and tools.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment such as scrub mops and vacuum cleaners to clean non-carpeted areas, including lobbies and corridors.
  • Effectively operate carpet cleaning machines to maintain carpeted areas in office spaces.
  • Respond to requests for clean-ups, removing litter and debris from floors and public areas.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash and recycling bins, replacing liners, and operating compactors.
  • Clean and sanitize office furniture, public seating areas, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Disinfect handrails on escalators and moving walkways to promote safety.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
