Job Summary:

The Radiology Liaison will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to Technologists, Radiologists, and other physicians in the Reading Room. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless coordination of patient records and studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the retrieval and organization of patient records and studies
  • Coordinate with Radiologists and Technologists to ensure timely completion of studies
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  • Update RIS with current study locations and log outside studies and disks received and/or returned
  • Accurately document transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Perform clerical functions including filing, copying, and faxing as necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of paperwork for document scanning in Medical Records
  • Work collaboratively with the PACS support team to achieve established Press Ganey goals

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Interest in healthcare profession, computer skills, and medical terminology preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy preferred
