Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced plumber to join our team at Ray & Son Htg & A/C Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing and mechanical systems installation, with a focus on piping of varying sizes and types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install new plumbing and mechanical systems, including piping of varying sizes and types
  • Demo work of existing plumbing systems when necessary
  • Read and interpret Blueprints & Specifications
  • Provide crew management, including crew layout for up to 6 people
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in the commercial plumbing & mechanical trade
  • Knowledgeable with the installation of sanitary, grease waste, indirect/special waste, storm, venting systems, domestic water, plumbing fixtures, and equipment
  • Medical gas certification is a plus, not a requirement
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Owns all hand tools required to install all the above plumbing systems (power tools provided by R&S)
  • Willing to work on lifts or scaffolds as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • A valid plumbing license (tradesman, journeyman, or master plumber)
  • A boiler class 3 certification
  • OSHA 10 training certification or higher
