About the Role

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and disconnecting dialysis equipment
  • Monitor and operate dialysis equipment while in use
  • Prepare treatment spaces and assemble necessary supplies
  • Monitor patient vital signs during treatment and respond to alarms
  • Accurately document patient information and treatment details
  • Clean and disinfect dialysis equipment and surrounding areas
  • Assist with maintenance and supply management within the dialysis unit
Requirements
  • High school level of educational development or completion of GED
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet Ishihara's Color Blindness test requirements
  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
  • Current CPR certification
