We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney Assistant to join our team at Crimson Technologies. As a Patent Attorney Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our patent law team in all aspects of patent processing, from application to granting of patent rights.
Key Responsibilities- Patent Processing: You will be responsible for managing all tasks related to formal patent processing, including preparing and accompanying objections, drafting documents, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Document Management: You will maintain and manage digital and physical files, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Deadline Management: You will track and manage relevant deadlines and dates, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
- Communication: You will correspond with offices, courts, and clients in both German and English, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Online Applications: You will handle online applications and submissions to patent offices and manage client portals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Financial Management: You will handle invoicing and electronic work orders in our law firm software, Genese, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
- Education: You have successfully completed your training as a patent law clerk (m/f/d), alternatively you can provide training as a foreign language correspondent (m/f/d) or translator (m/f/d).
- Experience: You ideally have some experience in patent law or trademark law, but we also welcome beginners and will provide thorough training.
- Skills: You have experience with patent databases and document management systems, and have a self-sufficient, structured, and responsible work style.
- Language Skills: You have excellent German and English skills, as well as good MS Office skills.
