OrthoAtlanta, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients with hand injuries and conditions. As an Occupational Therapist at OrthoAtlanta, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced medical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disabilities.
  • Hand Therapy: Design and fabricate splints to protect and improve patient function, as well as provide education on proper use and maintenance.
  • Patient Education: Instruct patients on home exercise programs, recommend assistive equipment, and provide guidance on follow-up programs to ensure continuity of care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, progress, and discharge summaries.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with Occupational Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides, and other medical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
  • Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification.
  • Current State of Georgia Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to receive one.
  • Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
