Mallinckrodt is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead our laboratory operations and provide technical support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing lab operations, scheduling and coordinating testing, and providing solutions to technical problems.
Key Responsibilities- Lab Operations Management: Ensure laboratory follows good documentation practices, site HSE policies, and safe work standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise in wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis, and conduct lab investigations and root cause analysis.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure laboratory cycle times are met, coordinate stability testing, and perform data release of all products.
- Training and Development: Develop and provide proper technical training, and participate in compliance audits.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field (Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent combination of education, experience, and competencies.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience, working knowledge of GMP's and GLP's.
- Skills: Adept at wet chemistry testing and instrumentation, extensive chromatography experience, and technical/troubleshooting abilities.
- 70% Laboratory exposure to plant products, solvents, and reagents.
- 30% Office environment.
Reports to the Plant Quality Manager and operates independently under limited supervision.
