This position is responsible for providing on-site instruction to undergraduate students during clinical rotations. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while serving as a clinical preceptor to students, demonstrating and assisting them with unit tasks and clinical skills. The role requires strong leadership skills to enhance patient experience and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Instruction (70%):
- Deliver clinical care to patients while serving as a clinical preceptor to undergraduate students.
- Demonstrate and assist students with unit tasks in practice and demonstrate clinical skills.
- Provide leadership to enhance patient experience and patient safety.
- Administrative (15%):
- Provide feedback to faculty on students' performance during time in the clinical setting.
- Evaluate students' clinical performance and send recommendations on improvement.
- Collaboration (15%):
- Utilize nursing practice to assign care for patients and families.
- Review written requirements with students, providers, and patients' families.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the specified clinical setting specialty applying for.
- Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse.
