**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pawnbroker to join our team at Pal Management. As a Pawnbroker, you will be responsible for greeting and connecting with guests, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet and establish rapport with guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Pawn Production: Maximize store profitability by testing and cleaning items, researching product values, and accurately recording guest information.
  • Customer Service: Ensure guest loans and purchases are located and stored properly, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Training and Development: Attend regular pawn trainings and store meetings to stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and company policies.
  • Safety and Security: Enforce safety, health, and security rules, as well as OSHA compliance and loss prevention measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in point of sales systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical Demands: Stand or sit for 20% of the day, walk for 80% of the day, and use hands/fingers to handle or feel items 100% of the day.
  • Lifting Requirements: Medium work, exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly.

Compensation:

$17-$22 per hour.
