The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates expertise in nursing practices and utilizes age-specific standards in their assigned clinical setting. Provides preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents. Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, and educates residents and families on health-related topics.
Responsibilities- Coordinates care and resident assessments
- Provides individualized care to residents
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to plan and implement care
- Conducts health education and counseling
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing. Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
