Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated.
  • Complete Service Tickets: Complete service tickets according to procedures and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Manage Inventory: Track and manage inventory to ensure needed parts are stocked on the vehicle.
  • Maintain Company Vehicles: Sustain company vehicles, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
  • Set a Positive Example: Set a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a company advocate and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess superb customer service skills and be able to work independently.
  • Computer Skills: Have standard computer skills and be able to use industry-standard hand tools.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
  • Travel: Ability to travel extensively within the region and work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department.
  • Certifications: Universal EPA certification is highly preferred.
