Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist 2 to join our team at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic environments and equipment.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Surgical Technologist registration required.
  • Eligibility for registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire.
  • BLS certification via AHA.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) preferred.
