The Griffin Groupe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Electrical Systems Engineer to lead electrical projects on large container ships, fishing vessels, and factory trawlers.

This role involves serving as the Engineer of Record, responsible for projects from RFQ to final install, testing, and compliance. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality projects meeting client specifications on tight timelines.

A wide range of electrical projects are involved, including vessel shore power work, alternative marine power, mobile crane electrical supply, hydraulic systems, communication systems, and terminal wide power systems.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • 5+ years experience installing, maintaining, and operating electrical equipment aboard commercial ships
  • Shipyard experience and industry standard safety protocols, and OSHA regulations
  • Intermediate to advanced Electrical Theory knowledge
  • Multiplication, Division, Order of Operations, and Fractions understanding
  • Circuit breaker and cable sizing expertise
