About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Labcorp. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and collecting high-quality specimens for testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information and specimen data into our system accurately and efficiently
  • Provide superior customer service to patients and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
  • Travel to additional sites as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency required
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
