Compensation & Benefits

The base pay for this role is between $38.22 and $50.96 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse at Rochester Regional Health, you'll play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and performing various treatment procedures.

You'll provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families, while supervising assigned team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Care & Service: Promote and restore patients' health through the nursing process, collaboration, and treatment procedures.
  • Planning & Communication: Develop individualized care plans, maintain effective communication, and convey patient health status, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management: Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR system, including accurate patient and provider documentation and communication.
  • Compliance: Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations, and education requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An Associate's degree in Nursing (AS: Nursing) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from New York State Education Department (NYSED).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
