Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, counseling, and support services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development to identify areas of strength and need.
  • Provide Individualized Support: Offer counseling services to students to address emotional, social, and academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Meetings: Review students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and Implement School-Wide Programs: Assist in creating and implementing programs to promote a positive school climate and support student well-being.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide immediate support to students and staff in times of crisis.
  • Maintain Confidential Records: Accurately and confidentially document student services and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: In School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Certification/License: In School Psychology in the state.
  • Previous Experience: In a school setting preferred.
  • Strong Understanding: Of child and adolescent development.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
