As a vital member of the law enforcement community, the incumbent is tasked with overseeing and responding to emergency calls and dispatch notifications while performing preliminary investigations. Responsibilities include apprehending suspects, executing arrests, and conducting proactive patrols within designated areas. Key Responsibilities
- Execute all assigned tasks and special projects according to established specifications and within designated timelines, adhering to budgetary constraints and agency policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with agency standards.
- Timely completion and submission of all required reports and documentation in accordance with state regulations and agency procedures.
- Conduct self-initiated investigations to uncover sources of illicit activities, processing and disseminating intelligence data to relevant investigative bodies.
- Safeguard and manage all collected evidence, ensuring its integrity and accessibility for judicial proceedings in line with legal standards.
- Collaborate with other agencies in criminal investigations by sharing insights and resources while keeping supervisors informed of requests for assistance.
- Utilize communication devices effectively to maintain contact with agency members and external agencies during multi-jurisdictional operations.
- Employ available law enforcement and community resources to monitor and identify prior offenders and gang activities, aiming to prevent potential criminal acts while respecting individual rights.

- Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls, ensuring compliance with agency protocols.

- Prepare and review legal documents for arrest warrants in accordance with agency and state laws.
- Utilize investigative tools to verify identities of suspects and apprehend individuals safely.
- Conduct professional interviews to gather accurate information while respecting rights.
- Apply appropriate force as necessary during apprehensions, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines.
- Document and process seized items in accordance with legal requirements.

Certification, Licenses and Registrations Requirements:
