Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to customers, contractors, and jobsites.
  • Perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, secure chains, and tarp loads as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including paperwork and electronic logs.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and customers to resolve issues with loads and delivery times.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper wearing of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience (3 years flatbed hauling over-the-road experience preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective listening and verbal skills to engage with internal and external customers.
  • No DUI or DWI within the last 5 years.
  • No on-road preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
