Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and collection of clinical data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, current conditions, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgeries as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of New York.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy, while providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
