Key Responsibilities:
As a CNC Mill Operator, you will:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically Haas UMC 750 5-axis and Mori DMG Horizontal.
  • Utilize MDI (Manual Data Input) programming to enhance production efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough manual inspections using precision gauges and instruments to guarantee part quality prior to submission for CMM inspection.
  • Interpret complex 2-D drawings and apply GD&T principles.
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to company safety and quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Engage in Lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize operational processes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC mill setup.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector.
  • Preferred familiarity with 5-axis setups.
  • Proficiency with Haas and/or Mori DMG machines.
  • Experience working with various materials, including aluminum, plastic, and steel.
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Experience with manual inspection techniques supporting CMM inspections.
  • A strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
