Night Auditor

At Carowinds, we are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for handling all guest services matters while attending the registration desk and taking calls over the phone.

• Guest Services: Maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Cash and Credit Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions.
• Amusement Park Tickets: Sell amusement park tickets.
• Financial Reporting: Balance daily room revenues and reconcile posting errors.
• Food and Beverage Reporting: Balance F&B revenues via Micros poll.
• Audit and Rollover: Complete the audit and rollover PMS to the next business day.
• Guest Recovery: Solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner by following Marriott's guest recovery process.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with other shifts and Management.
• Watchman Duties: Supervise the watchman duties to maintain a clean and safe environment and accommodate guest requests in a timely manner.
• Market Stocking: Stock the Market.
• Breakfast Setup: Assist with breakfast setup.
• Emergency Situations: Respond to emergency situations by following hotel protocol.
• Company Policies: Adhere to Company uniform and attendance policies.
• Code of Conduct: Adhere to Company code of conduct.

• Charismatic Attitude: Possess a charismatic attitude.
• Computer Skills: Ability to operate a computer and learn the property management system (FOSSE).
• Hotel Experience: Previous hotel front desk experience required.
• Marriott Experience: Previous Marriott experience a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Work Schedule: Able to work third shift, weekends, and holidays.
• Communication Skills: Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to multitask and have independent problem-solving skills and sense of urgency.
• Teamwork: Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest Interaction: Ability to handle guest requests and complaints, take payments, and give necessary compensation and refunds.
• Calm Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm during emotionally charged situations.
• Brand Representation: Proudly represent the brand and company.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test per company policy unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references per company policy unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
