Delivery Assistant Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as a Full-Time Delivery Helper/Driver Trainee. You'll receive valuable knowledge and experience in the beverage industry, with training provided by our experienced team members. This role offers a great chance to develop into a Non-CDL or CDL delivery driver position, with company-paid expenses towards obtaining your CDL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist delivery drivers with deliveries to retail accounts in the Greater Milwaukee to Great Madison area
  • Unload and load product on and off our trailers
  • Unload and deliver product to customers
  • Prepare trucks for current and future stops, restocking deliveries, and rotating product in retail accounts
  • Maintain a courteous and pleasant attitude towards customers and coworkers
Critical Physical Demands:
  • Use of hand and foot controls for driving
  • Walking and climbing stairs
  • Two-handed lifting, handling, and carrying of cases from floor to overhead levels
  • Pushing and pulling a hand truck and/or cart loaded with up to 165 pounds
  • Sustained squatting, kneeling, and/or bending while handling products
Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy individual with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma or GED required
