Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Comprehensive Medical Care Provider to join our team at North Star Behavioral Health in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed.

Requirements:
  1. Active Alaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain licensure.
  2. Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  3. AANPCB Board Certification.
  4. Minimum 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred.
