Job Title: Gaming Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Gaming Cashier to join our team at Parx Casino. As a Gaming Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a secure and accurate cash handling environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quick, courteous, and accurate cashiering service to customers.
  • Maintain and reconcile a cash drawer, and secure cash, coupons, forms, and other related inventory associated with cashiering and casino sports wagering duties.
  • Act as a sports wagering teller when assigned to that area of the casino floor.
  • Issue sports wagering tickets, pay guests, and assist with guest usage of kiosks as needed.
  • Exchange cash or coupons for customers in adherence with established procedures.
  • Prepare, issue, and receive banks from team members of other departments.
  • Assist slot operations in preparing jackpot payouts for customers.
  • Maintain and secure all cash and cash equivalents in possession, while providing accurate reporting and financial transactions through the POS system.
  • Perform all cashiering duties in assigned areas as requested, including special assignments.
  • Evaluate the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to company service and operating standards, and provide immediate positive and constructive feedback to cashiering employees.
  • Handle customer complaints, and solicit the support of a supervisor as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Knowledge of standard cage and internal control procedures preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, math, and money handling skills required.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk, push, pull, and carry weight for a full 8 hour shift.
  • Ability to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
