Virtually Connected is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and Diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
  • Develop and Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
  • Provide Therapy programs to address speech and language issues, utilizing various techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor and Document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate Patients and Families on communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing progress.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conduct Screenings and Prevention Programs to identify speech and language issues early.
  • Stay Current with Research and Best Practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Maintain Accurate Patient Records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide Counseling and Support to patients and their families regarding communication disorders and treatment options.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in Diagnosing and Treating speech and language disorders.
  • Strong Understanding of Speech and Language Development and related disorders.
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in Using Speech Therapy Tools and Technology.
  • Commitment to Ongoing Professional Development and staying updated with advancements in the field.
Working Conditions:
  • Work may be Conducted in Various Settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and private practices.
  • May Require Travel between different locations and working with patients in various environments.
  • Physical Requirements include the ability to sit, stand, and move around during therapy sessions.
