Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician

Equipment Experts Inc. is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician to join our team in Lakewood, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing quality assurance of field repairs for our customers.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10pm (some variance in start time). The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing a wide array of equipment, including heavy duty trucks, forklifts, heavy equipment, aerial equipment, and minor fleet automotive work.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Communicate effectively with customers, service advisors, and lead technicians to ensure seamless service delivery
- Perform accurate and complete inspections to identify potential issues
- Document all work performed and communicate with customers regarding job status
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in a production or fleet shop
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds multiple times per day
- Willingness to work as a team and learn different types of equipment

We offer a competitive salary range of $22/hr. to $35/hr. based on relevant experience, plus weekly production bonuses. Additionally, we offer a $2,500 sign on bonus and a $2,500 six month retention bonus.
