ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this position, you will be an integral part of the engineering team focused on the production of high-performance heat shield materials. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes that meet the rigorous demands of aerospace applications.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cost-effective production systems for heat shield tile manufacturing.
  • Apply your knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems to develop innovative material manufacturing solutions.
  • Utilize your background in chemistry and materials science to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
  • Create detailed manufacturing documentation, including drawings and specifications for equipment procurement.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with equipment vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage integration schedules and coordinate with technical teams to meet project milestones.
  • Draft operational procedures for manufacturing and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with automation teams to design control systems for production processes.
  • Deliver creative solutions and drive projects with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace, industrial, or chemical manufacturing.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in design and integration within manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with fluid and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX or SOLIDWORKS.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and database management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required.
