Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithms
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current appropriate state licensure
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed

• Experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred but not required)
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred but not required)
• Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test

• The position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting, moving of patients and assisting with ambulation

• The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels
