We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing.

About the Job

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue to diagnose medical conditions.

You will position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary, appropriately setting controls on the related equipment, monitoring patient and equipment, making adjustments as required.

You will also assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if necessary. Additionally, you will dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans, assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures, evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label them accordingly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if necessary.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label them accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will need:

  • A minimum of 18 months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech.
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
  • Licensure to practice in most states.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
