Overview:
Mannik Smith Group is in search of a Senior Professional Municipal Engineer to enhance our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in the planning, design, and management of engineering and inspection initiatives for a variety of municipal and county projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
Oversee and direct civil engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.

Engineering Design:
Conduct thorough engineering analysis, design calculations, and develop construction documentation for diverse municipal engineering projects, which may include public facilities, transportation systems, and utility infrastructures.

Regulatory Navigation:
Manage local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes to secure necessary approvals while ensuring adherence to environmental, zoning, and safety standards.

Client Engagement:
Foster and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, regular project updates, and prompt resolution of client inquiries to guarantee satisfaction.

Collaborative Efforts:
Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals, to deliver cohesive solutions that meet project goals and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Professional Credentials:
Must possess a valid Professional Engineer license in New Jersey or demonstrate the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.

Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal stormwater and wastewater systems, site development, and construction administration.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software. Familiarity with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software is advantageous.

Communication Proficiency:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to clients and team members.
