Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team at Cynet Systems. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting individual contributors and working closely with our team to achieve operational targets.

Nature of Supervision

You will work under close supervision, receiving detailed instructions and close peer review to ensure the quality of your work. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our company.

Communication and Influence

As an Assembly Technician, you will communicate effectively with your team members, obtaining and providing information that requires explanation or interpretation. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with your colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Innovation and Complexity

This role involves working on routine tasks, following established processes, and escalating issues to your supervisor for resolution. You will have the opportunity to develop your problem-solving skills and work within identified boundaries and procedures.

Organization Impact

As an Assembly Technician, you will work to achieve operational targets within your job area, which has a minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Your work will be of limited scope, typically involving smaller, routine task-related activities.

Education and Experience

We require a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience. You will need to demonstrate good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and close attention to detail and quality.

Must-Haves (Hard Skills)
  • Good hand-eye coordination - manual dexterity is required as you will be working with glass products.
  • Close attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to perform basic functions on a PC/Microsoft office.
Nice-To-Haves (Hard Skills)
  • Experience handling small products/microchips (part is no larger than a quarter in diameter).
Must-Haves (Soft Skills)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork oriented.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision if required.
  • Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
  • Patience.
Deal Breakers (Would Not Consider)
  • Combination of sitting/standing for extended periods of time. Arms shoulder height to load the tool.
Degree/Certification Requirements
  • HS Diploma/GED and 4 years' experience.
Degree/Certification Preferences
  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
