The Geriatric Nutrition Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met. This position requires a deep understanding of gerontological nutrition and the ability to develop tailored meal plans that cater to individual preferences and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement personalized meal plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to address any nutritional concerns or issues
  • Maintain accurate records of resident assessments and progress
  • Provide educational resources and support to family members and caregivers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian licensure in good standing
  • Experience working with older adults in a long-term care setting
  • ServSafe certification, or equivalent
