Responsibilities

1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 6:00 AM to Noon Friday

Starting Pay $18.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, Lasting, Inspection, and Finishing (Non-Sewing Operations)
    • Material Preparation.
    • Operating programmable machinery.
    • Performing manual tasks.
    • Executing various shoe lasting operations to manufacture footwear, including placing leather uppers into clamping devices attached to machinery.
  • Accountable for interpreting production tags and ensuring the quality of work.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Able to reach 12-18 inches.
  • Must be capable of standing/walking for an entire shift in Non-Sewing Operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Quality Control and Inspection is advantageous.
  • Background in shoe/boot manufacturing is a plus.
  • Stitching experience is preferred for roles involving stitching.
