NHC HomeCare Laurens is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and participate in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for patient rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate and supervise physical therapy services, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegate appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
  • Instruct physical therapy staff in their delegated functions, including precautions, special problems, contraindications, and anticipated progress goals.
  • Plan and supervise treatments and programs, establishing short-term and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician.
  • Ensure patient care records meet third-party reimbursement qualifications and state/federal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing.
  • One year's experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.
