Job SummaryWe're seeking a registered OB Sonographer to provide diagnostic services to our MFM physician partners. As a key member of our team, you'll work a regular schedule (no weekends) and enjoy a positive work environment that prioritizes your wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Perform sonographic procedures, including high-risk OB and MFM sonography
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
- Create reports to assist physicians with documentation
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetal anomalies
- Communicate sonographic findings to physicians
- Provide visual sonographic guidance for successful amniocentesis
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies
- Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics
- Participate in continuing education and professional growth opportunities
- 1+ years of high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
- Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN
- Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
- Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or related field
